Accommodation in Peru
There are many reasons for a stay in Peru; internship, university studies, volunteer work, vacation, a language course… no matter what your reason may be, for your time in Peru we have the accommodation that suits you. On the page Available Accommodation you will find a huge selection of furnished and shared apartments, guest families and student dorms in Lima, Cusco and Arequipa.
Safe and convenient: just use our Accommodation Form to tell us your preferences for your stay in Lima or other Peruvian cities. We give you advice about the different options and make a reservation for you. All accommodation options are carefully selected, always offering the best possible conditions and prices.
INSIDE PERU guarantees that all our accommodation options count with the following standards:
- situated in safe areas
- we always offer accommodation options in your favorite district (close to work/university etc.).
- easy access to public transport, proximity to supermarkets etc.
- free use of kitchen and common spaces (living room, patio, garden etc.). Usually the use of telephone, internet and washing machine is also included
- if you choose to stay in a guest family: we personally know all families that take part in our accommodation program – they will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible
If you want a maximum of privacy, independence and comfort, renting your own apartment is the choice. This requires a certain responsibility and is slightly more formal, because you need to close a contract and pay a guarantee. The monthly rent depends on the standard of the apartment and on the district. This option requires a minimum stay of one month, but we can also offer alternatives for single weeks.
Peruvian guest family:
This option is the perfect option if you are looking for contact to the local people and really want to know Peruvian culture and everyday live in Peru. Accommodation in a guest family is cheaper than to rent your own apartment. You can practice your Spanish the whole time and last but not least try the tasty Peruvian food every day so you can really feel at home.
If you are searching for a cheap accommodation option and want to live together with other students from all over the world in a friendly and international atmosphere, then this is your choice. Student dorms are safe places, always including access to internet, kitchen, washing machine, telephone etc.
How to rent:
For your own apartment you pay a monthly rent directly to the landlord. You also pay a monthly fixed amount for running costs and for water, electricity and telephone.
For a furnished room you pay the rent in the beginning of every month directly to the main tenant or owner of the apartment. Usually there’s no deposit required. Rented rooms are furnished and for the use of one single person. According to further agreements though, it’s also possible to rent a double room.
